TO WELDON: I think I've made your point! Haha! hit the eye-gym!!

dadadadadadadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Rawrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. It's time for me to update! Darling Mei Hui reminded me yesterday, and in jest I told her to be my muse and inspire me. Okiedok. So, here's a short little poem dedicated to her! Hahaha

Long brown hair, pretty eyes
I love Mei Hui better than fries!
-----------

Okay, I give up. What! I'm so not good at this poetry thingamajig. :p Anyway it's SUNDAY, which means our dear post-POP army boys are booking in tomorrow, leaving the comforts of civilian life once again for another week of national duty! Most of the sc boys are pretty alright with their post-POP posting, like Raimi, who got into OCS. We met on Friday night to watch Temasek Idol back in TJC, together with out seniors Ivan, Sam, Hafiz and Yazid (aka hot council pres of 27th). It was pretty alright I guess..the juniors (Yee Chuin, Lester and Eugene) won for the group category! So proud of 'em. Ladeedaaa...okay this is when I have to mention my muse again..I was sitting next to Mei Hui (AHEM!!) and I think for the first time I screamed louder than her. The frigid blast of cold air from the air-con that was directly behind us was probabaly to blame. ;) Memories of her screaming with Wenny and Jiayi during cheering matches are still not forgotten!! Hahaha!

Being the foodie that I am, the past week was not without gastronomical satisfication. On Sunday, I discovered an extremely sinful yet satisfying dessert at Delifrance. If you're a chocolate lover, watching your diet but don't mind indulging in a treat once a week, then the chocholate fondant is for you! There are 2 different chocolate fondants on the menu..one is the brownie sort (costs $5 ++) which is not so nice. Try the one that costs $6.95! It looks like this:

Fluffy chocolate cake oozing with thick, dark bittersweet chocolate. Mmmm. Must try!

I'm officially married to BnJ. Tried this flavour after my cousin recommended it to me, and YES IT ROCKS!! yumyumyummm.

Took out my wisdom tooth last Tuesday. Extraction procedure was basically painless, if the nurse didn't dig her fingers into my neck in a frantic attempt to keep my head from jerking while the dentist CRUSHED the tooth into pieces before taking it out of my mouth. (Yes, -shudders-)Anyway I opened my eyes during the stitching bit, and the anaesthesia made it feel like a complete out of body experience. Here are a couple of pictures that may interest you:

The tooth came in this cute little Hello Kitty container, which completely belies the horror it contains. Wei Yen loves the sexy nurse's outfit! Hahaha

Ta-dah!!! It's actually broken into 3 pieces, but I took pains to wash them and assemble them nicely solely for the purpose of taking this photo. Yes, I know. Boredom is my constant companion. Anyway, for those who're taking out their wisdom teeth soon, it's bearable discomfort. I would advise you to close your eyes throughout, unless you're as crazy as I am. During the stitching, I was like, 'It's so gross..and yet..I can't look away..' So...people like Kenneth, Kula and Andrew, you will survive. :)

Gahhh I think I've run out of steam. BUT.....
