post-menstrual crappiness.
I'm so tired.

Despite having to go to bed at 1.45 a.m., I had to drag my tired ass out of bed at 6.45 a.m. to check my email, before going to school for the third day of OGL camp. The turnout was just dismal...only 50 + ogls showed up for wet games! So instead of playing different stations stimultaneously, we just waited for them to play each station one by one. Being one of the station I/Cs for the second last station (together with weldon and meihui), I sat in the sun for the whole morning. The result of this is a funny-looking sunburn that spreads across my face and cheeks, and an uneven tan. This is what you get when you have huge cheeks, and are stupid enough to want to tan yourself in this country's scorching afternoon sun. Gahh.

Wet games went quite well...people were having fun splashing one another with water. Obtaining logistics was a problem, though. The problem came in the form of that horrid horrid Mr Chang, bloody OM of TJ. First, he picked on Weld and Maria for wearing slippers. Maria explained that we were having WET GAMES, and they didn't want to get their shoes wet. Guess what? Chang called him 'ill-disciplined.' If you can see the link here, kindly point it out to me, because as far as I can see, that man is a complete twit.

Then, Sammy and I watched as he barked at one of the non-teaching staff to open the storage room for us, cause we needed chairs (which he very reluctantly gave us, after a whole lot of grumbling) in some games. He acted like it was the poor woman's fault that chairs from another storage room were already taken for use, and ordered her around like she was HIS servant...like HE was paying her. Idiot. *makes strangling action*

I was plagued by stomach cramps the entire day, which caused me to be extremely cranky. I even gave mass dance a miss (!) 'cos I was feeling so uncomfortable. In the end, egg had to send me home in a cab before he joined the Gamma HC at KV for pool. Faiii thinks I'm spoilt because he thinks I'm always sent home, which is totally not true! That Bo bo!! haha...

Gotta bathe and do homework. Rawrrrrr.

Yesterday was Boxing Day.

Wasn't in a very good mood yesterday, no thanks to my family's neurotic moments. Woke up late and went for brunch at the friendly neighbourhood kopitiam, then slacked and continued calling all the future year 1 students to remind them about the Subject Combination Briefing today. Speaking of which, what is UP with people and taking phone messages? I had about 60 students to call, and some people actually expected me to 'call later', when it was already close to 10 p.m..

Me: 'Hello, may I speak to _____ please?'
person: '_____ is not at home.'
Me: 'I see. I'm relaying a message from Temasek Junior College...can you take a message?'
person: 'Okay.' <= Note the AFFIRMATIVE. People should really understand that by saying 'okay', it means that they're expected to take note of the entire message, even resorting to copying it down word for word using pen and paper, if necessary. But noooooooooooooooooooo.
Me: 'There will be a compulsory Subject Combination Briefing conducted tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. in TJC school auditorium. Attire is school based. If ______ cannot attend the briefing, a parent can attend on his behalf.'
person: 'Er.......can you call back later?'

-_-'

What is UP with these people?! You think we have nothing better to do? I politely ask you to take a message, speak slooowwwly so that you have time to write the message down, while bearing in mind that I have like, say...oh not much, just 39 more students to call before 10 p.m., half of them who probably have irritating family members like you who WASTE my time repeating the whole message before telling me to CALL BACK later just because they're too bloody lazy to WRITE IT DOWN.

Hellooo?? We live in the age of communication, people! Have some initiative! Oh wait. Maybe the over-reliance on email and sms has caused some people to feel the strain on their neurons when they're told to relay something verbally, or *gasp* written. Oh, the horror. I am quaking in my seat.

Note: To any future year 1s, or parents or relatives, or randomly critical people reading this. The content is PURELY an individual's expression of discontentment in a PERSONAL blog, which you have chosen to read on your own free will. It shouldn't affect your impression of the college in any way at all. We @ TJC are a nice, homely, non-agressive bunch, thank you very much.

Why did I bother with the disclaimer? The last time I presented my personal opinion on wife/girlfriend bashers, someone tagged and called me a 'critical, condescending little brat', and told me to look into the mirror.

Oh by the way, I did, and the last time I checked, there was nothing wrong.

While some blogs may have content that upsets certain individuals, I see no sense in criticising the owner of the blog in an utterly immature fashion. I mean, do you really expect that person to change his or her style of expression just because you don't like it? If you really want to say something, just post a nice little note on the Tagboard and kindly use your own name (even though whatever your name is, it's actually none of the owner's business...). I totally detest people who tag using pseudonyms (pardon the spelling error, if any. (: ) to insult blog owners while hiding behind a stupid identity. If you're ashamed to claim your personal comments, it would be best to keep them to yourself.

Ugh gotta go. Tuition! Joyjoyjoy.

[Whoo! I'm back from LA! Okay, I was back since 3 Dec...was just lazy to blog. I don't fancy blogging much about my trip to LA, though. Let's just say that Daddy's wallet is alot lighter than what it used to be. ;-) We went with 4 bags, but came back with 6! The airport people were giving us Looks..probably thinking, 'those desperate little asian people...' ]

I actually typed the above half-finished entry and saved it as a draft. Ahh wellll...don't feel like continuing anymore. Anyway, today's Christmas, so....MERRY XMAS EVERYONE! May Santa be kind enough and grant us all a smashing year 2006.

One more week of holiday left. Ughhhhhhh. I have to sit for that horrid, HORRID Math Diagnostic Test on 4 Jan! Arghhhhhh!!! I haven't finished revising! And don't get me started on the Holiday Homework that's piling up on my desk collecting dust. Rawrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
